Pendleton Round-Up Newsletter - March 2008

February is a busy month at Round-Up with many committee meetings and attending various social functions. As many of you may have heard we have signed our 2008 concert act and are pleased to have Joe Nichols and special guest Jason Michael Carroll. We know they will put on a great show.

Just in time for Valentine’s Date, the Round-Up office will feature a 50% off sale on all clothing in stock. You might want to use this sale as a time to purchase next year’s Christmas gifts, or for an upcoming birthday.

Don’t forget that February 23rd is the BBQ Helper’s Party at the Let’er Buck Room. If you haven’t RSVP’d please give the office a call at 541-276-2553. We will have plenty of raffle items, great food and drink and look forward to hosting a party of our volunteers.

The First Citizen’s Banquet was a great success and Wildhorse did an excellent job of hosting this year’s event. Our congratulations to Emile Holeman and Shirley Michael for their selection as Pendleton’s First Citizens.

Don’t forget that permanent ticket invoices have been sent out. We know this will create some confusion because we normally send out concert and PBR ticket invoices prior to Round-Up tickets. However, for a number of reasons, not the least of which is cash flow, we have decided to mail permanent Round-Up ticket invoices out early. We appreciate your understanding and hope this doesn’t cause undue hardship on anyone.

If you have special guests coming to Pendleton don’t forget to stop by the Hall of Fame. We’re sure your friends will be impressed with this great exhibit and give you a chance to show them some Pendleton history as well.

We’re happy to report that Billy Lorenzen is back home after surgery for a life threatening aneurism of the aorta. Thanks to quick thinking, a fast helicopter and good surgeons at Kadlec Medical Center, Bill pulled through the surgery fine and is on the road to recovery.

We would appreciate your feedback on this web letter. Let the office know if you would like us to add anything, or if it’s even worth continuing. Until next month - Let’er Buck®!!!
